[net.micro.pc] TI 99/4A mini-memory question

rjs@houxe.UUCP (12/09/83)

I'm interested in getting the mini-memory cartridge mainly for its
assembly language capabilities. I have several question that
I'm in hopes someone can answer for me. Any help will be
appreciated.

The mini-memory cartridge comes with 4K of RAM. Can
I also address the internal 16K of RAM using assembly
	language?

Can I directly address the video and speech processors?

I was told that the only way to address the external
memory (32K expansion RAM), was with LOGO or with
	extended BASIC. Is this true?

Finally, (and probably more fundamentally), at $99.95 (about
2 times the current selling price), is the mini-memory worth
it? Or should I be taking another route?

Please no comments like, "Get rid of it and get a better machine." I'm
a diehard and believe it still has potential.

I'm gonna die with my TI, :-)
