Another SNOBOL4 system is now available for the IBM PC. This system is a SIL (Macro) implementation based on the original system from Bell Labs and supports the full SNOBOL4 language. Requirements are 128K bytes memory (256K or more recommended), one diskette drive (single or double sided), IBM PC DOS Version 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, or 2.1. 8087 Math Co-processor is needed if floating-point arithmetic is desired. Price is $49.95, which includes diskette, programmer's guide, and a copy of "The SNOBOL4 Programming Language" as published by Prentice-Hall. Price is $39.95 without the Prentice-Hall book.
