[net.micro.pc] Multiple display screens

It is fairly difficult to run a monochrome screen and a graphics screen
simultaniously however, it is trivial to run up to three mono, three rgb
or as many as you want composite screens at the same time. The mono and rgb
screens can just be split and run in parallel (after three the signal just
doesn't cut it). With composite screens, just go down to your local stereo
store and get a Y-adapter. That works fine for about four composite screens,
for more you'd need a distribution amplifier because of the current loss by
spliting.

I got the impression that the original poster wanted info on putting DIFFERENT
things on different screens. Was I wrong? It is trivial to use both a mono-
chrome and a color display, showing different things, but the other ones I
am not too sure about, since the memory for "color-graphics adapter" is at
a single place in RAM, come hell or high water. Special hardware can *always*
be set up, of course...
