. "Filepath Utility": to run MS-DOS 1.x programs under DOS 2.x. We recently bought, for *** $14.45 *** (including shipping) a program that allows you to run DOS 1.x programs that use data files, configuration files, libraries, and the like, and put the files in another directory. You run "FP" as a utility and specify a search path just as in the current "PATH" command. Example: FP B:;\DATA;\BIN which searches for a file first in the current directory, then on the Ramdisk (B: drive), then in a system data-files directory, and finally in the commands directory (some programs want their files in the same dir as they run out of...). It comes with a professionally prepared man page. At $14, it's an exceptional buy; people who do this stuff should be supported. Inquire with: SDA Associates P. O.
