I have found two free programs that sound like they may be fun and very useful. The first program was advertised in the March 1984 edition of PC World, in the *.* department. It is a graphics program that has 5 fonts and a symbol library containg symbols that range from music to vechicle pictures. The program requires a Graphics monitor. It also requires 128k of memory with DOS 1.10 and 192k with DOS 2.00. You can print the graphic pictures on a IBM graphics printer or the following plotters: HP7470A, HP7580, IBM XY/750, IBM XY/749 and IBM 7374. To get a copy send a blank, formatted disk in protective , self-addresed stamped mailer to: Eugene Ying P.O Box 549 Kingsbridge Station Bronx, NY 10463 The second program was advertised in InfoWorld, March 5,1984, in the Newsbrief section. The program is entitled PC Musician and lets you write and edit music on-screen. The program will run with 64k RAM on the IBM PC with any version of DOS. You can use either the monochrome or color-graphics adapter. To recieve a copy send a formatted disk and a postagepaid return mailer to: Christopher Wiley Box 111, VAMC Prescott, AZ 86313 The developers of these two programs request a danation of $20 - $30 if you find the program useful and/or fun. **NOTE** I am not associated with either developer in any way. Nor am I associated with PC World or InfoWorld. I am simply informing readers on net of two useful programs. Tom Morgan
