I have an IBM-XT.

Does anyone know how to get a '.EXE' file to PROM's?

And / or does anyone know of an assembler for the XT
that generates HEX output files?

Though I'm sure it has been asked before,
is there a good C cross-compiler which runs on the XT
and generates HEX output files for the 8086, i.e. HEX
files which are NOT tailored just for the XT?

Any pointers to existing articles or new information
is greatly appreciated.
