Rseponse to PC Digest Vol 13 Issue 34 I first read about The Creator in 80 Micro Jan 1983 (p.74). It was a program generator for the TRS-80 I written in BASIC. The articel includes scource code and documentation. It was placed in the public domain. A subsequent artile is in 80 Micro Feb 1984 (p.68) describing The Creator II/Reporter, it also includes scource (BASIC TRS-80) and some documentation A machine readable source is available-- TRS-80 I/III $11 CP/M $ IBM-PC $27 Manuals $11 Newsletter $10 per/yr. (four issues). Postage included in the US. No charge cards. COD & POs add $10 (running around time!!). (caution: the opinions expressed here are those of someone who has a connection with the product) The Creator also runs on CP/M-80, TRS-80 MIII, and (ta da!) the MacIntosh. It's written in MS-BASIC, so it's really transportable. Source is available for $25 extra from TNT software. The produced code can be run through BASCOM, natch, to speed it up considerable. W&A also sells it (that's the co. I work for). The other Creator mentioned has been retitled and has nothing to do with Bruce's Creator.
