I am trying to interface an HP7470A plotter to a PC/XT with Tecmar's PC-Mate IEEE488 baord. Tecmar's documentation for their BASIC software package is terrible and their customer service is a joke. Surely someone out there has addressed this problem. I would like to set up a C routine which sets things up for 1-way communication, from PC to plotter, and another which allows sending ASCII command strings to the plotter.
