I have noticed that when you exit back to the operating system using the IBM XT Diagonistics disk (provided with the XT Guide to Operations) that it seems to do a complete power-off restart. It seems to start the memory check program (POST, if I remember correctly). However, when you do a boot using CTL-ALT-DEL you never to execute the memory check program. What is different between the two and is there some way to perhaps make a REBOOT program do the same thing? Mike Parker {alias mike@LOGICON.ARPA} -------
