I noticed a footnoting program in 8080 assembler in the Wordstar directory at SIMTEL20, available via anonymous FTP. I THINK the pointer to the directory is.. MICRO:<CPM.WSTAR>FOOTNOTE.* That would be fine for CP/M for a start. I haven't used the program myself, and haven't gotten any direct feedback from anyone else.
