<.................. for line eaters only ..................> I am in progress of initiating a project requiring a C compiler and an information database for the IBM PC XT. As this is the first time I use the IBM PC, I request information from you people out in netland about experiences of using various C compilers and databases on the IBM PC. I have PC-DOS v.2.0 and are forced to use this or newer versions of PC-DOS (no UN*X for the near future). I'm especially interested in getting information on various C compilers and databases available for the PC, sales organization, prices, performance, amount of bugs/deficiencies, friendliness of use etc. I've recently also purcased Pascal MT+ (TM) of Digital Resarch Corp. Does anybody have any opinions about this compiler compared with other Pascal compilers/interpreters for the PC, for example Turbo Pascal? Thanks in advance!
