I predict that if the scheme you propose were implemented, a security chip emulator program (copy protected &%!@&$!! ) would be introduced by someone else. It would work by redirecting memory references to the ROM board to RAM. Also, a RAM or EEPROM board with one free socket used to copy the contents of the security chip into RAM or EEPROM wouldn't be hard to build either. Otherwise I think its a great idea. Bart Thielges
