[net.micro.pc] Wanted - information on C compilers for MS-DOS

jr@foros1.UUCP (John Rogers) (09/11/84)

Hi. There's this guy leaning over my shoulder, making me post this
request. You see, he's going to need a C compiler for MS-DOS for
a project he's got coming up. The question is, what's good? He's
going to need a complete implementation, decent execution speed,
and access to *lots* of in-core data (64KB won't cut it). He'll
also need to be able to write subroutines in 8086 assembler language
(yuck!). Seperate compilation is a must. BCD math would be very
nice, but it's not critical.

Please mail responses to me (or post here); I'll try to follow-up.
My friend only has read-only access to the net right now, so please
send responses to me.

				Thanks in advance...
