The referenced article spoke of a problem trying to reference the MS-DOS command tail through the use of the Turbo Pascal pre-defined `Mem' array. We entered and ran the program given with the article, and it worked fine, both under Turbo and standalone. We used my (personal) Turbo v1.0 on a PC-XT at work to run this test under PC-DOS 2.10. -- Gene E. Bloch (...!nsc!voder!gino)
