From: Jackie <Burhans@ECLD.#ECLnet> I have recently heard the nasty rumour that DOS 2.1 is merely a slowed down version of DOS 2.0 to allow it to run on a PCjr. Thus, the theory goes, regular PC users would wish to avoid using DOS 2.1 but might want the manual as a reference. Surely this isn't true? Can anybody tell me about or direct me to information about the differences between DOS 2.0 and 2.1 and/or PC vs PCjr speed issues. Thanks in advance. -------

[] The DOS 2.1 manual DOES NOT include the DOS function calls. It's been moved to the Tech Reference (a new one). I thought I was losing my mind after spending 1/2 hour trying to find the calls in the 2.1 manual. If anybody has a 2.0 manual and wants an *upgrade* to 2.1, I'll be happy to trade :) (don't you love these little guys?)
