I have just downloaded the kermit sources which were recently
posted to net.sources. After assembling the necessary files,
I ran the thing on my IBM-PC. There are several problems I
noticed immediately :
1) the right-cursor movement in the heath-19 emulation
causes characters which are being moved over to be
blanked out, occasionally. This is a real pain
in vi.
2) the terminal emulator does not auto-wrap at column 80
3) RUN and PUSH do not seem to work properly
4) TAKE does not seem to work
5) kermit does not look at mskermit.ini at startup time
Perhaps I just have a bad copy of the source. On the whole, the package
looks very well done, and I would certainly like to use it, but until
these problems are fixed, it is not very useful.
