I saved $300 by spending $89. I'm using an AMDEK 300A composite monitor with an IBM color graphics card. I went this route to save money and still get graphics capability. What I did'nt know was that I would get a washed out un-readable display when the software put the card into 'color mode'. Sidekick looked terrible. I could'nt read the color windows at all. Color graphic displays were down right LOUSY!. I was about to spend $500 for and RGB monitor to end this situation when a friend of mine introduced me to this little card that cleaned up the picture 1000% and gave me gray tone shading for every color. WOW! you should the display now. Text is very readable and graphics look beautiful. I did'nt have to throw away the composite monitor I paid $150 for and I did'nt have to buy an RGB monitor ($500). I did spend $89 for this little card that plugs into a slot in my PC and works with my color card. If interested write me direct and I'll give you detail on how to save MONEY!!

Pardon me for skepticism when two posters both tell me about a GREAT cheap card to make color work well but neither of them will tell me where to get it, I should instead buy it thru them. Let me guess -- it's being sold by Amway and they get a cut...

Please notice that these are in fact both THE SAME POSTER... The same message was posted twice (note the similarity of the text). Don't discount the message just because you saw it twice. Moreover, it is not uncommon for someone (or some site) to be so concerned about commercialism on the net that she/he/it wants people to mail for the information rather than forcing them to see it. Why don't you (the skeptic) mail the poster and find out? -- Allan Pratt ...ihnp4!inuxc!iuvax!apratt

His clever and expert analysis of this hardware stands unchallenged. However, I am shocked to find the name of the Amway Corporation used to attempt to reflect a "cheap and shady" image. Perhaps Mr. Gilmore has never been involved with a company at the forefront of its market, or which produces the finest products in its industry. My experience with the Amway Corporation, its owners, products, employees and distributors has proven to me their excellence. Michael T. Jones
