[net.micro.pc] Which C compiler ... for the last ti

I have been using the Lattice C compiler from Lifeboat, and, depending on
what you want from a compiler, I strongly recommend it as a very good one.
There is also a lot of support software for this compiler that I know of
(symbolic debuggers, overlay linkers, libraries, etc). And the price
isn't that bad.

I've been using CI-C86 from Computer Innovations. Hey it works. It's
got some nice library functions for doing fun things on the PC, and the
source for the complete library. If you're into creating your own
library, there are nice features for that. It uses the standard MS-DOS
LINK.EXE which some do not ... allowing you to link into assembler ...
and best of all, the tech support is great.

Re tools ... look into the Programmers Shop in Boston. They have
a warehouse that is as complete as they come.

Good Luck!
