A friend of mine is a PL/I freak and was wondering if their are any implimentations for the PC. Has anyone have any experiance with PL/I on the PC???? Please respond by Mail.. - Ue-li Pen ------------ "Do the programming now, worry about the problems later.."

Digital Research has a version of PL/I for the PC. I have not had much
experience with it, but I was disappointed to discover that unlike full
PL/I, arrays must be dimensioned by constant expressions. This makes it
weaker than most microcomputer versions of Pascal for matrix math. I'd
strongly recommend looking over the manual before buying it -- there are
other differences that may make it very disappointing for serious PL/I
fans.
