I've just bought a 64k IBM PC, 2 drives, no monochrome or color card.
I'd like to get others' opinions on the best way to flesh out the
memory and provide output (I have an NEC 1201 green screen monitor
and an Amdek Color 1+, so I'd like to use one or both of these for
the display device).

Specifically, I'd like to find out:
1. Are there any recommended mail order outlets for purchasing 64k
DRAM's? And what speed of DRAM (150ns, 200ns) is required for the pc?

2. Has anyone used a Quadram board for memory expansion? How well do
they work (eg compatibility with popular software)? Is it easy
to add additional memory if you buy a minimal board (ie do the boards
   come socketed for additional memory)?

3. Any recommendations for graphics cards compatible with the above
monitors would be appreciated. I've been considering the Hercules,
and would like to hear from anyone who has one.

Sorry if all these topics have been covered already (I haven't had access
to the news for very long).

Please mail any responses to:

P.S. I'll post a summary of the responses to the net if there is
sufficient interest in these topics.
