A reference was recently made to the memory board made by Tall Tree but the writer mistakenly stated it was made by Tall Grass. Tall Grass sells disk and tape systems and not memory boards. Anyway, I also have a Tall Tree J-RAM board and I too think it is great. However, beware of the following minor problems: 1.) Some programs like the SI program in the Norton Utilities cause a system with a JRAM board to hang. This is due to the way Norton attempts to assertain how much memory exists in a system. 2.) In my Leading Edge PC the JRAM board causes the system to forget to current date. This is interesting because the system remembers the current time just fine. I am convinced that these problems are caused by the JRAM because they go away when the JRAM is removed. Jon Forrest ucbvax!ucsbcsl!forrest
