. I have a friend who is trying to get his PCjr with internal modem working. He has tried PC-Talk with no success. The modem is internal(IBM) and non-Hayes. He has a 128k 1 disk jr. He would like to see if there are any programs available and where he might obtain it/them. Pete akgua!alflo1!pete

How about the "IBM Personal Communications Manager"? This is a repackaged version of the Microcom "Era2" communications package, and is reasonably complete. Also, MSDOS "kermit" happens to work fine on the Jr. He'll have to manually type the IBM-specific commands to dial the phone number, but other than that, it should perform well. > I have a friend who is trying to get his PCjr with > internal modem working. <> I have seen JrTalk which is PC-Talk configured for the Jr on some NYC bulletin boards. Try 212-924-6598 or 718-624-9141
