The 6300 comes with XXX K of RAM installed on the motherboard. This is determined by the amount that you ordered. If you want to add more RAM you simply insert them in increaments of 64K right after the ones that are already there. If you want the RAM installed with a multi-function board just tell the switches on the multi-function board where the RAM on your motherboard stops ... in your case 128K. The 6300 motherboard can handle up to 640K. A real feature HUH! P.S. Make sure you install the RAM with the front (the end with the half circle indentation) pointed in the same direction as the ones already there. Oh yeh! Don't bend those little legs on the chips ( look like NYC roaches huh? ), you can get some real nasty problems from that! ________________ |\ \ | \----------------\ Vaughn Vernon | | __________ | AT&T ISL | | | | | Denver, CO \ --| | | AT&T | |)------\ drux1!vlv |\ \ | | 6300 | | ( \ | \ \ | |________| | ) \ | \ \ | ( \ \ \ \---------------- ) \ \ \--------------------(----------- \ | ----- -----)- | \ | _____ | (| | \ ____________________)_________| ( - ------------------------ \\`` ````````````````` \ \\`` ``````````````` `` \ \`` `````````````` `` \ -----------------------vlv 3/21/85
