+ Just thought I'd write a note to let everyone know that I also have had hard disk problems with the PC/AT. I got shipment of it in December 84 and couldn't even run the disk diagnostics on it. That includes the advanced diagnostics as well. Any access to the the hard disk caused an error. As of now it is still in a repair shop waiting for a new disk. The folks at the MDI Computer store (where the AT was purchased) were real helpful (enter sarcasm mode). They never tested it before they shipped it to me and then it took me three weeks to convince them that I really had a bad disk. Needless to say I warned our purchasing people to stay away from MDI in the future. Yours in waiting, Peter Meng -
