[net.micro.pc] PC AT disk drive and temperature.

---------------------------

Having complained twice about the AT disk drives already
and not wanting to put everybody else thru this trauma,
I would like to add just one (short) note about the temperature theory.

I also get some temperature correlation to the extent that
when I get LOTS of disk errors, it is always when I first turn
the system on, for the first 1/2 - 3/4 hour or so of use.

They seem to happen less often after that point. The system is
in a location where the air flow is somewhat restricted
(plus I'm usually freezing so I always turn the heat on anyway)
so the operating environment does get significantly warmer and thus
it seems my disk errors are also (at least somewhat) temperature
sensitive. Luckily my warranty is thru December so there will
still be time for the system to screw up and for me to get real mean,
assuming the errors go away for the summer.
