. Has anybody had any good (or bad) experiences with the Autocad drafting software currently available? In addition, what other CAD/CAE drafting packages are available and what are their strengths and weaknesses. I will summarize all replies received. jeff@wjvax

Appears to be extremely easy to use, even the Tandy sales rep could handle it :-). Both applications are on a 512K IBM w/ a math co-processor chip, a hitachi digitizer, a houston instruments plotter, and a 20MB external hard disk. This makes an excellent workstation... Autodesk, Inc has good documentation though it bothered me when they told me i had to go to the dealer to get any questions answered how much could they help? :-) finally i was able to get a tech person on the phone at AutoDesk and he was a tremendous help! -- Eduardo Hernandez '87 Hinman Box 1038 Hanover, NH 03755 (603)643-7229
