I don't want to start up the whole emulation subject again so soon but has *anyone* found a vt132 terminal emulation program for the PC out there? The only additions above and beyond the vt100 (I believe) are: 1) Block Transfer (aka 'edit mode' or 'transmit buffering') selectable for line/page/message/unprotected only 2) insert/delete character 3) insert/delete line 4) forward/backward/automatic tabbing in unprotected fields In particular I need the 'line transmit' feature (i.e. the ability to change the display memory without transmitting and then send the line that the cursor's on when the return key is hit). Our PCs can't replace our Teleray100s for some services on some computers (e.g. mvs/tso on an IBM 3081) until I find or write this. (Other combinations are ok, e.g. Unix, VMS on the vaxen). None of the 20-30 emulators, including Coefficient's VTERM, in the PC software catalogs seem to have this! Note that *both* vt100 and vt132 terminal standards provide for 24x132 screensize in addition to 24x80. (Boy, would I be interested in a vt132 emulator that would do 24x132 through the Enhanced Graphics Adapters on our PC/ATs!) Terry Hudgins <tth@unc> {decvax, seismo}!mcnc!unc!tth
