[net.micro.pc] Need ^C interrupt handler strategy

bob@anwar.UUCP (Bob Erickson) (05/13/85)

I am now in the process of porting a large application to an IBM/AT
using the Lattice C compiler. It now runs under many versions of UNIX and
while MSDOS is getting closer to UNIX every day, it's not there yet.

So as not to re-invent the wheel, I was wondering if anyone has written some
routines which will catch ^c interrupts via a fake signal mechanism.

For instance, we usually set up a signal to catch interrupts, cleanup our
files in the handler and longjmp back to the beginning with an indication of
what went wrong. Since command.com seems to be able to catch ^c interrupts,
I am hoping with some dos hack, I can too.

Anyone solved this problem yet ?

Thanx for any help......
