Attention fellow Frontiersmen: I am tweeking my Zenith 150 to see how much faster I can run it. (Naturally, I have a toggle switch installed to flip back to the original 4.77MHZ for software capatibility and formatting diskettes, et al.) By using an external oscillator chip, I have been able to run as high as 6.67MHZ before bottoming out. With an 8088-2 (8MHZ) installed, I had hoped to improve all the way up to 8MHZ. (I know - I'm an optimist !!). Alas, no improvement at all !! I'm basicly lazy. Rather than analyze what's actually happening, I figured I'd ask if someone has blazed this trail ahead of me. HAS ANYONE OUT IN NETLAND UPGRADED THEIR ZENITH TO 8MHZ. IF SO, HOW DID YOU DO IT ?? Thanks in advance.-- Pete Williamson "By hook or by crook, we will !!" ... #2
