Does anybody know where I can get source code for TeX that will run on an IBM PC? (more generally, where can I get source code to TeX, since it is supposedly public domain?) Also, is LaTeX available anywhere? Thanks in advance, Eric C. Brown brownc@utah-cs ..!{ihnp4, seismo, decvax}!utah-cs!brownc

TeX for the pc is available from two sources. One is the book publisher Addison-Wessley. The other I don't remember at the moment. Neither is free. TeX for Unix (vax and sun) is free and is available from Washington University (furuta@washington.arpa). For further information on TeX for the pc contact drf@su-score.arpa. -- rusty c. wright {ucbvax,ihnp4,akgua,hplabs,sdcsvax}!sdcarl!rusty
