I've been trying to write a terminal program for the DG-1, which uses the 82C51 UART instead of the 8250 in the IBM-PC. The manuals have not been adequate. Has anyone done this? Has anyone got a description of the differences between the '51 and the '50? Are the people who ported Crosstalk to the DG-1 on the net? I've been able to write characters to COM2 using the BIOS, but not read them back or do anything with COM1. -- -- Peter da Silva (the mad Australian) -- UUCP: ...!shell!neuro1!{hyd-ptd,baylor,datafac}!peter -- ARPA: baylor.peter@RICE.ARPA -- MCI: PDASILVA; CIS: 70216,1076; DELPHI: PJDASILVA -- -- Terry Morse (408)743-1487 UUCP: { (ucbvax!dual!sun) | (ihnp4!qubix) } !sunncal!leadsv!morse UUCP: { allegra | ihnp4 | dual } !fortune!amdcad!cae780!leadsv!morse UUCP: seismo!nsc!cae780!leadsv!morse
