Does anybody know of a graphics board for the IBM-PC that can display lots of colors (at least 64) at a good resolution (at least 320 X 200)? The ideal card would be about 640 X 400 and 256 colors. The cards that I've been able to find can only display a couple of colors unless they are used at very low resolutions. All pointers and leads appreciated, I'll post a summary if there is enough interest. --Bob Uucp: {decvax!} ucbvax!mayo InterNet, CSNet: mayo@Berkeley Phone: (415) 642-9716

If I remember correctly, the IBM Professional Graphics Controller gives 640 x 480 resolution, 256 colors out of 4k pallette. Of course, it is cost-prohibitive, the whole system costing over $3000. I would be interested in any information you receive, also. John W.
