The XMODEM protocol (in its many forms) has become quite popular, but host processes implementing the protocol seem to be available only in bootleg form. "umodem" is the popular version of xmodem that we use around here on UNIX. I'm taking a survey of xmodem host processes that are used on host operating systems, especially operating systems other than UNIX. I want to use this information in a tutorial that I'm writing about the use of xmodem. If you have such a host process, or have heard of one, please send me mail specifying: 1) The name of the xmodem process 2) The host operating system 3) (Optional) Your return address, so I can contact you further if I decide to use examples of interactions with your process in the tutorial I will summarize to the net, if interest is sufficient. Thank you! --sandy bish, AT&T Information Systems --ihnp4!drutx!druxv!sandy --(303)-538-4717 --Denver, Colorado
