[net.micro.pc] multitasking GEM

Does anyone know whether GEM from Digital Research is compatible with
any of the multitasking enhancements to PCDOS (i.e., Topview, Multijob,
etc.)?

I want to run a bulletin board as a background task,
but don't want to give up my GEM user interface for 
foreground stuff.
