[net.micro.pc] Big disks and Xenix for PC/AT

waserman@ucsfcgl.UUCP (Tony Wasserman%MIS) (08/08/85)

Has anyone tried to run Xenix on the PC/AT with something other than
the standard 20 Mb disk? It looks almost necessary since there isn't
much user space available after Xenix takes its 9Mb.

How much work is involved to support the bigger disk. I see that you
can edit /etc/hdinit, but is it necessary to write a device driver?
Has anyone done this? I will post useful replies to the net.
Thanks. Tony Wasserman
