UB 40 In response to the comments about the various waivers written into software warranties: The fact that someone wrote that they are not responsible does not mean that they are not responsible. If something breaks that a reasonable person thinks shouldnt, regardless of the boiler plate on the wrapper the manufacturer is liable for damages. If my software screws up and causes me a substantial loss, the software manufacturer could be liable for those damages, possibly to the tune of 3M$ or more. However, if I am scared off by a lot of legalese on the wrapper, I certainly shouldnt expect the manufacturer to seek me out and pay me what they owe me by virtue of their liability! Keep that in mind both while running commercial software and also the next time you are at an amusement park riding the roller coaster. Dave, kk9w@pur-ee
