While the portability of my COMPAQ-plus is wonderful, disk space is a quantity governed by Parkinson's laws and thus I need more of it. However, I don't want to do surgery on the machine, nor lose portability. One patch that comes to mind is to use an EXTERNAL hard disk, communicating through a spare parallel or serial port. Can anyone recommend a company that sells reliable external hard disks, reasonably priced? Thanks.
