A couple of friends of mine are going to buy ATs with DOS 3.00. Would someone please tell me what is wrong with BACKUP in DOS 3.00? And... is there any problem with BACKUP in DOS 3.10? Thanks. -- Thom Brando {allegra,decvax,ihnp4,philabs,utzoo,uw-beaver,...}!linus!brando.uucp

DOS 3.0 BACKUP command sometimes writes a 0 for which disk of the backup it is. You can use debug to re-write this one file with a non-zero value to get around this problem. DOS 3.1 does not have this problem.
