[net.micro.pc] Need PD Line Editor in C

     I am looking for a public-domain line editor (written in C),
to run under MSDOS.   Is there anything available similar to ed(1)
under 4BSD?  My need for a good line editor arises from the
fact that I am totally blind, and do most editing on a
hardcopy Braille terminal.
Since programs like ed(1) are no longer commonly used,
sources have become difficult to find.  Any information is
appreciated.
