[net.micro.pc] graphic master card

frans@duvel.UUCP (Frans Meulenbroeks) (08/30/85)

I've got a graphic master card for a PC.
This card has the nasty habit of displaying a screenful of black and white
vertical bars, and a few other characters, every fourth screen.
The data sent to the screen is ok, because when the screen is full of
bars, they disappear when the next line is outputted, and all output
previously sent is still there.

This is rather annoying, so my question is: is this normal?
Must the thing be installed different (e.g. different strap settings)?
User error???
If it matters: the card is used in an AT.
Needless to say that I have no access to documentation which might be
helpful in solving this problem, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using the graphic master (by Tecmar) on an IBM PC with a PGS Max-12e.
I have never encountered the problem like yours. May be you should call
Tecmar for technical support.
