Does anyone know anything about Carl Heinsohn International, Inc.? They have an ad in the October issue of Byte on page 430. Their PC/XT clone looks like a pretty good deal to me, but this is the first ad I have seen from them and I a little reluctant to throw my money their way without knowing more. Here is what their machine has for $949: 640K RAM 8 I/O slots 2 half-height floppy drives keyboard color graphics adapter serial port parallel port real-time clock with calendar 135 watt power supply 12" monochrome monitor (assembled and tested with 6-month warranty) Can I do as well or better with any other vendor? I'm open to any ideas that don't involve spending much more money.
