In looking through the latest BYTE issue I found an add for a 300/1200 baud modem. It was available as a kit or partially assembled. I cant remember the name and I dont have the issue here. Does anyone have comments on the advisability of going this route. I mean is a modem a modem a modem in principle, only differing in the extra goodies? This modem has auto dial, redial and answer.
