-- I am looking for an IBM/PC card that can generate RS422 output at a speed higher than 200 Kbit/sec. This card will most likely have on-board memory which is accessible from the PC. The card should have an HDLC mode and a "raw" mode where it only does framing and zero insertion etc. It is better if the card can act as a DCE as well as a DTE. I saw an ad for such a device in the latest (Oct) issue of
Byte magazine in the Byte Bits section (9 to a pages ad on
the gray pages in the back).
