[net.micro.pc] Need help with xenix ...

broome@waldo.UUCP (Jonathan C. Broome) (11/12/85)

[munch?]

Our site is a PC/AT with 3 Meg of memory running Xenix version 3.0, and we
have been orking on customizing it to suit our needs. I've ended up rewriting
a lot of stuff like init, getty, login, passwd, su, and the like so we can
run 2400 baud dialups and have decent resource limits... Now we're trying
to get a reasonable tty driver going, but to no avail... If anyone out there
has a nice tty driver (like with Berkeley word erase and reprint) that they'd
be willing to share, we'd be very interested in getting our hands on it,
possibly in exchange for some of our new stuff (configurable getty, etc).
I'd also be very interested in anyone who's managed to get any of
{readnews,rn,vnews} running on the AT --- I've got all the stuff to send
and receive news working, but have to read it the hard way
("more /usr/spool/news/net/*/*" ....) !!!

Interested parties please send me mail !!!

Thanks ...
