According to the Tech Reference, BIOS routines are available to change the active display page for alphanumeric mode (INT 10H, AH=5). Peter NOrton's new book ("Programmer's Guide to the IBM PC") also describes this service routine. These routines let one switch the page actually being displayed, but I can find no way to set which page is being written to by the BIOS routines. His book also hints at sub-codes for the INT 10H ah=5, such as "set CPU display page register" (p.230). Anybody know how to use this stuff? I want to be able to prepare new screens in the background while the user is reading the currently displayed screen. Any help is apreciated. Please reply via mail.
