[net.micro.pc] MS-DOS cntl-brk handler wanted

jacobsn@csd2.UUCP (Nicholas H. Jacobs) (12/09/85)

I am currently writing code that replaces the control-break handler on the
PC with a calling syntax very similar to the call to signal() on UNIX. The
compiler that I'm writing it for is Lattice C. Since Microsoft's document-
ation (perhaps I honor it to call it that) is sketchy, I'm wondering if
anyone has a generic routine to replace it. I'm using the Macro Assembler
to write it. The main problem seems to be when a program is waiting for
keyboard input, rather than on output (I can get it to work for interrupting
output).

P.S. Please don't direct to the DOS manual, that sad excuse for a manual
has already given me as much information on the subject as it ever
     can.

P.P.S. Any flames concerning the questionable merits of MS-DOS as an operat-
       ing system will be ignored...
