A month back I posted requests to the net for help in resolving completely random non-recoverable system crashing when using the IBM personal Editor with Mouse Systems pop-up software w/mouse. I've taken all the helpful suggestions and upgraded to the latest version of AT&T PC-DOS and the new ROM chip Rev. 1.21. Results: Unless you are a complete masochist, do not use the Person Editor with the Mouse Systems software. The crash when it happens, and it will happen folks, is when you have two hours worth of work in memory, and no back up. It's possible that the new release of the IBM Person Editor, which IBM finally came out with works correctly, but let others more harder than I, explore this situation. steve simon AT&T Bell Labs hou2f!sds1
