[net.micro.pc] Looking for business accounting sof

   I have a friend (NOT a computer type) looking for accounting software
for an IBM PC clone.  He wants a multi-tiered General Ledger, Accounts
Payable, and possibly Inventory.  Once he starts using whatever he gets,
he will become quite dependent on it, so it has to be reliable.  Ideally
he'd like a package that comes with source code so he can get a local
computer person to fix it, modify it to suit his needs, etc.
    Right now he's looking at a $50 package from "dac Software" of
Dallas Texas - this package does NOT come with source.  Has anyone
had any experience with this firm?  Or want to recommend something better?
Reliability and maintainability are much more important than cost.
