We got an AT at the lab I work for, and when we first got it, everything was ok. Then, little by little, glitches would wreak havoc with the hard disk until we started losing groups of files all the time. I don't know how many hours I wasted trying to recover some of those files. Anyway, I took the AT into Computerland, and in a few days they had replaced the hard disk controller card and I haven't had any problems since. This was a normal AT with IBM's (CMI) 20 Meg disk drive. Are you using the IBM controller card? (I think they said a TI chip wasn't performing quite to spec on the card) - Mike Polo ...allegra!psuvax!psuvaxg!polo ...allegra!psuvax!MSP@PSUVMA.BITNET -- I don't think you'll get to me here
