{} I have an IBM-PC/XT with full memory. I want to run Crosstalk in the background waiting for a call while another program is running in the foreground. (Specifically I want to run Word Perfect in the foreground). Ideally, I would like for someone to be able to call and leave or take files from my system using Crosstalk at anytime without having to have that person tell me they are going to call so I can leave Word Perfect and fire up CrossTalk. If anyone knows of a program or method that would allow this sort of thing, please let me know. Thanks much Tom Lowe uucp: {allegra, ihnp4}!psuvax1!gondor!lowe Bitnet: LOWE@PSUVAXG.BITNET -- uucp: {allegra, ihnp4}!psuvax1!gondor!lowe Bitnet: LOWE@PSUVAXG.BITNET

Er...not meaning to toot my own horn (or at least not too loudly!), I'm just now finishing off a program that will enable exactly what you require. It's called TransNet, and eats about 50K. It is a BBS system as well as a scheduled XMODEM upload/download program. It also includes UNIX-*LIKE* mail facilities and will shortly be interfaced for UUCP and KERMIT. It's about ready to market, but I'm still looking for a "few good Beta Sites". I figure the retail price will be around $150 (for corporations) and $80 for individuals. For more information (or for you early-birds: For placing orders!), give me a call at (212)-889-6431 or send mail to the below address. Ross M. Greenberg ihnp4!allegra!phri!sysdes!greenber
